The Dive Team blog\website has reached a significant milepost with over 101,000 views over the years and has been linked to from numerous media sites. Many times it has been linked to News events covered by local and national media outlets that have resulted in many requests and follow-up stories. It has become routine for both media and local businesses to contact team staff to ask what the team is involved in and upcoming events...
This is not a Dive Team that sits and waits on events to happen and then respond to. It has become common place to see these team members out training in the waterways and Ocean in "Less than perfect conditions" on routine basis. Dive Team members are often seen patrolling the area beaches after the Life guards have left for the day and this has resulted in at least one documented "Save" when a team member pulled a young boy out of a rip current that had pulled him away from the beach...
